Paul Thoresen Joins Questar as Account Manager/Consultant

Questar would like to announce the addition of Paul Thoresen as its newest Account Manager/Consultant. Paul will be an invaluable asset to both the sales and consulting teams within Questar’s employee survey research division.


Paul will be responsible for maintaining effective business relationships with existing clients for survey projects in employee engagement and 360 degree feedback measurement initiatives. Paul’s skills will be utilized to ensure that existing clients are at maximum satisfaction with Questar’s services as well as using his background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology to identify any further client needs. In addition, Paul will be working closely with the consulting team by helping to clarify scope on various services in addition to providing data report analysis, delivering training sessions, and giving executive presentations. He will apply his vast experience to help clients utilize their research to enhance their organization’s effectiveness.

Paul has 10 years of survey research experience, including work in a variety of for-profit sector, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. He received his Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and has expertise in organizational assessment, job satisfaction, recruitment, interviewing, selection, training and on-boarding.


Paul is a member of the following divisions of the American Psychological Association: Society of Consulting Psychology; Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics; and the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology (SIOP). He is an active SIOP volunteer, annually reviewing papers and posters for the SIOP national conference, as well as a past volunteer on the Institutional Research Committee. He is on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Organization Development Network (MNODN), and an active member of Minnesota Professionals for Psychology Applied to Work (MPPAW).


Paul had the following to say about his newly acquired position: “I look forward to the opportunity to be working full time with a premier survey research firm. I believe this position will be the perfect combination of utilizing my relationship building skills, along with allowing me to work in many different areas of the company. I hope to help bridge the gap between sales, customer services, and consulting.”
